No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu is grappling practiced without the traditional uniform. Instead of gripping the kimono, you rely on body locks, underhooks, and control points, making the game faster, more dynamic, and directly applicable to MMA and self-defense scenarios.
Whether you’re building a base for competition, cross-training alongside Muay Thai, or just want a high-intensity workout, No-Gi is the fastest-growing branch of submission grappling in the world. Learn more about the sport at ADCC, the premier No-Gi grappling organization.

By appointmentWhy train
Without the gi to slow things down, No-Gi demands sharper timing and tighter technique. You improve faster because there’s nowhere to hide.
Street clothes don’t come with lapels. No-Gi grappling is the closest thing to real self-defense on the ground, and the foundation of competitive MMA.
The pace of No-Gi training pushes your cardio and explosiveness harder than almost any other martial art. Every round is a full-body workout.

Common questions
No experience is needed. Our classes welcome complete beginners alongside more experienced grapplers. Your first class is free and you’ll be guided every step of the way.
In traditional BJJ you wear a gi (kimono) and can grab the fabric for grips. No-Gi is practiced in shorts and a rash guard, so you rely entirely on body position and control, making the game faster and more wrestling-oriented.
Athletic shorts without pockets or zippers, and a fitted t-shirt or rash guard. No bare feet on the mat, flip flops to walk to the edge are fine. Once you join, a rash guard and spats or board shorts are standard.
Absolutely, it’s the primary grappling base for MMA fighters worldwide. The lack of gi grips means the techniques transfer directly to a cage or real confrontation. Many students pair No-Gi with our Muay Thai program for a complete game.
Yes, live rolling (sparring) is part of most classes. It’s always optional for beginners, and the intensity is matched to your experience level. You’ll never be thrown in the deep end on your first visit.
