Black belt under Alan Moraes. Carlson Gracie lineage. Building champions in the Pacific Northwest.
Breno Henrique Abreu Bittencourt was born on July 7, 1989 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started his martial arts journey at age 4 in judo, following in his father’s footsteps as a combat sports enthusiast.
At 13, he was introduced to jiu-jitsu and quickly found his calling. After earning his blue belt in Floripa and returning to Rio, he found his permanent home at the Carlson Gracie Team under Alan Moraes — one of the most respected black belts in the Carlson Gracie lineage.
Breno paused competition for 4 years to complete his degree in Information Technology. When he returned, he committed fully — leaving a full-time IT career to train as a professional athlete. His dedication paid off: multiple national titles, a South American championship, and a black belt promotion in July 2016.
Today, Breno brings that same relentless work ethic and elite-level competition experience to his students at Bittencourt Jiu-Jitsu.
